Since 2009, Festivalet has brought together a carefully curated selection of independent designers and makers from Spain and abroad. Our annual December edition has become a Christmas tradition for thousands in Barcelona: a place to discover locally made products and buy them directly from the people who make them.
A space for independent makers
It all began at Christmas 2009 as a small fair with just 8 stands. It worked, so six months later we did it again, with a few more. As interest from designers and visitors kept growing, we settled into an annual December edition. If you're in Barcelona in December, don't miss it.
In Barcelona since 2009
Over the years, Festivalet has been held in several venues across the city, and now takes place at Fabra i Coats — a former textile factory in the Sant Andreu neighbourhood.
